Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Laboratory Technician Gr.II in Health Services. Category No: 359/2020. Vacancies: District wise: Malappuram - 01 (One) (LC/AI community). Scale of Pay: 22200-48000/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (From candidates belonging to LC/AI Community of Kerala State only). Age limit

18-39. Only Candidates born between 02.01.1981 and 01.01.2002 (both dates included) are eligible. Maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years including all relaxations. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A pass in Pre-Degree or equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks or B grade in Science subjects. Relaxation of 5% marks to Socially and Educationally Backward communities as per G.O (P) No.208/66/PD dated 21-05-1966. • SSLC or equivalent for Ex-servicemen who have passed Class I Blood Transfusion Assistant Test and have put in not less than 15 years service in the Armed Forces. Technical Qualifications: • A pass in one year Medical Laboratory Technician's Training Course conducted by the Medical Colleges in Kerala or by the Public Health Laboratory, Thiruvananthapuram or any qualification equivalent thereto. Experience Required: Not applicable Physical Standards: Not specified Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part II Rule 10 (a) (ii) is applicable. In the case of persons who have completed Degree course in Science, 'B' Grade in Pre-degree examination will not be insisted.

General conditions from the notification
Selection is on a Revenue District basis. Candidates advised for appointment in one district are not eligible for transfer to another district unless they complete five years of continuous service. Candidates already in Government Service holding the same post in any district are prohibited from applying. Candidates must submit confirmation for writing the examination if a test is conducted.
