Who can apply

Kerala PSC has invited applications for Full Time Junior Language Teacher (Urdu) in Education (Category No. 355/2020 - 356/2020). Vacancies: District wise: Malappuram - 1 (One) for Latin Catholic/Anglo Indian (Cat No. 355/2020), Malappuram - 1 (One) for Viswakarma (Cat No. 356/2020); pay scale: ₹ 25,200-54,000/-; method of appointment: Direct Recruitment (From among the candidates belonging to the above mentioned reservation community only). Apply online through Kerala PSC One Time Registration by 20-01-2021.

Age limit

18-43. Only candidates born between 02.01.1977 and 01.01.2002 (Both dates included) are eligible to apply. Maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years including all relaxations. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • S.S.L.C or its equivalent qualification. • Degree in Urdu conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • A Title of Oriental Learning in Urdu awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • A Pass in Adib-I-Fazil (Preliminary) Examination in Urdu conducted by anyone of the Universities in Kerala. • A Pass in Urdu Higher Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. • BA Urdu and Islamic History double Main Course by Kannur University. Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. Exemption: Candidates who have qualified CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D/M.Ed. in the respective subjects are exempted from acquiring TET. Experience Required: Not applicable Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II of the KS&SSR will be applicable. Candidates claiming equivalent qualifications must produce Government Orders to prove equivalency at the time of verification.

Selection is on a revenue district basis. Candidates must submit confirmation for writing the examination through their OTR profile if a written/OMR/online test is conducted. Rules regarding probation, transfer, and disciplinary actions apply as per KPSC norms.
