Educational Qualifications: • M.Ch /DNB in Paediatric Surgery Technical Qualifications: • Permanent Registration Under Kerala State Medical Council (TCMC)/ Council for Modern Medicine Experience Required: None Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. Qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for a post, in the Special Rules and such of those qualifications which pre-suppose the acquisition of the lower qualification prescribed for the post, shall also be sufficient.

General conditions from the notification
Candidates must acquaint themselves with the instructions given in Part II, General Conditions. Those appointed must serve for four (4) years during the first ten (10) years of their service (including the period of training) anywhere in India or any other foreign country under Defence Services connected with Defence, if required. Differently abled candidates and those who have completed 45 years of age are exempted from this compulsory Military Service.
