Qualifications

Experience Required: Must be a low paid employee holding a post with a scale of pay below Rs. 9940-15680/- in regular service of Municipalities and Corporations of Kerala. Persons appointed through Employment Exchange or on a temporary/provisional basis are not eligible. Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Low paid employees in the State Municipal Common Service who apply under this category are exempted from the minimum general educational qualification (SSLC).

General conditions from the notification
Competitive test of S.S.L.C. standard will be conducted. Candidates securing more than 40% marks are eligible for the Ranked List. Rules 14-17 of Part II of KS&SSR 1958 regarding reservation are not applicable. District-wise selection with specific transfer conditions as per G.O (M.S) No.154/71/PD and subsequent amendments.
