Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Junior Public Health Nurse grade II (Special Recruitment for SC/ ST and ST only) in Health Services. Category No: 339/2020. Vacancies: Districtwise: ALAPPUZHA - 2(SC/ST) & 3 (ST only); WAYANAD - 2(SC/ST) & 4 (ST only). Scale of Pay: 22200-48000/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (Special Recruitment from among Scheduled caste/Scheduled Tribes & Scheduled Tribes only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 20-01-2021 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18-46. Only Candidates born between 02.01.1974 and 01.01.2002 (both dates included) are eligible. In the absence of qualified candidates within the age limit, the upper age limit shall be relaxed up to 50 years. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Pass in SSLC (or its equivalent qualification). • For Scheduled Tribes: Pass in Standard VIII (only in the absence of fully qualified ST candidates). • For Scheduled Caste: Completed S.S.LC Course (only in the absence of fully qualified SC candidates). Technical Qualifications: • Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery certificate (Revised Course of 18 months duration) issued by Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council. • OR Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery certificate/Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery certificate (Revised Course) issued by an Authority recognized by the Indian Nursing Council. • OR Health Workers training Certificate issued by the Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council. • Registration with Kerala Nurses and Midwives council. Experience Required: Not applicable Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)(ii) of part II of KS&SSR is applicable. Candidates claiming equivalent qualification must produce the relevant Government Order at the time of verification.

Appointments are subject to G.O(Ms) 142/72/PD, G.O(Ms) 309/73/PD, G.O.(P) No. 21/76/PD, and G.O.(P) No.25/94/GAD. Differently abled persons are not eligible. Candidates must submit confirmation for written/OMR/online tests. Bogus claims will lead to disciplinary action under Rule 22 of KPSC Rules of procedure 1976.
