Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Degree in Arabic conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala • Title of Oriental Learning in Arabic awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala • Pre-degree with Arabic (Special Optional) of Calicut University • Plus Two Part III Arabic (Optional) course of the Higher Secondary Board, Kerala • SSLC Examination of Kerala Government with Arabic as First Language (Part I and II) • SSLC or equivalent examination and must have passed any of the following: 1. Arabic Munshi (Higher) Examination, 2. Arabic Munshi (Lower) Examination, 3. Arabic Teachers Examination, 4. Arabic Entrance Examination of Kerala/Calicut University • BA Arabic & Islamic History double main degree Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET-IV) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala Experience Required: None Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. Exemption from K-TET is provided for candidates who have acquired M.Ed, CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D in the relevant subject.
