Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of High School Teacher (Social Science) - Malayalam Medium in Education. Category No: 327/2021. Vacancies: District wise: Scheduled Caste - Kannur - 2 (Two). Scale of Pay: 29200-62400/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (From candidates belonging to Scheduled caste community only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 22-09-2021 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18-45. Only candidates born between 02.01.1976 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included) are eligible. Maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years after all relaxations. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A Degree in the concerned subject and B.Ed/BT in the concerned subject both conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • Post Graduates in concerned subject with B.Ed/BT in the concerned subject are also eligible. • BA.Ed Integrated Course (Social Studies, English) conducted by the Regional Institute Of Education in Mysore. • B.Com along with B.Ed-Commerce. • Diploma in Rural Service awarded by the National Council for Rural Higher Education (treated as equivalent to Degree). • Various specific combinations of BA degrees in Islamic History/Arabic/Urdu/Economics/Political Science/Indian History with B.Ed in Social Studies or History as per specific GOs. Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. • Exemption: Candidates who have qualified CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D in the respective subjects and M.Ed in any subject are exempted from acquiring TET. Experience Required: Not applicable Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable for this post. Candidates claiming equivalent qualification should produce relevant Government orders during verification.
