Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Overseer Gr II/ Draftsman Gr II in Local Self Government Department. Category No: 324/2020. Vacancies: 51 (Fifty One). Scale of Pay: 22200-48000/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment. Applications must be submitted online on or before 20-01-2021 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18-36. Only candidates born between 01.01.2002 and 02.01.1984 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. SC/ST and OBC candidates are eligible for usual age relaxation. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Must have passed SSLC or equivalent Technical Qualifications: • Kerala Government certificate examination (2 year course) in Civil Engineering • Diploma in Craftsmanship in the trade of Draftsman (Civil) obtained after 18 months course (followed by 6 months practical training) at the Industrial Training Institutes/Centres, conducted by the Government of India, Ministry of Labour • Diploma (2 years course) in Civil Engineering in Women's Polytechnics Experience Required: Not applicable Physical Standards: Not specified Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 (a) ii of Part II KS & SSR applicable. Candidates claiming equivalent qualification must produce the relevant Government Order at the time of verification.
General conditions from the notification
Candidates selected shall be on probation for a period of two years within a continuous period of three years. 3% of vacancies reserved for differently abled candidates. Confirmation for writing the examination is mandatory for OMR/Online tests.
