Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Veterinary Surgeon Gr II in Animal Husbandry. Category No: 323/2020. Vacancies: Anticipated. Scale of Pay: 39500 - 83000/-. Age limit

18-39. Only candidates born between 02.01.1981 and 01.01.2002 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. Usual age relaxation applies for SC/ST/OBC candidates. The period of service in Armed forces and period of unemployment on discharge up to a maximum of three years shall be excluded for the purpose of reckoning the maximum age limit. Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Degree in Veterinary Science Technical Qualifications: • Registration with the Kerala State Veterinary Council as envisaged in the Indian Veterinary Act, 1984 (Central Act of 52 of 1984) • Working knowledge in Malayalam Experience Required: Not applicable Physical Standards: Differently abled candidates with only Locomotor Disability/Cerebral Palsy are identified as suitable. Candidates with blindness/Low vision & Hearing Impairment are not eligible. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS & SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. Candidates claiming equivalent qualification must produce the relevant Government Order at the time of verification.
General conditions from the notification
The list of selected candidates shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year and a maximum of three years. Candidates must submit confirmation for writing the examination through their profile if a test is conducted. Disciplinary action as per Rule 22 of Rules of Procedure will be initiated for bogus claims. Candidates must undergo training during the period of probation unless exempted.
