Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Assistant Professor in Family Medicine in Medical Education. Category No: 321/2020. Vacancies: 02-(Two). Scale of Pay: As per UGC norms. Age limit

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • MD/DNB(Family Medicine) • In their absence: MD/DNB(General Medicine)/MD/DNB(Paediatrics)/MD/MS/DNB(Obstetrics & Gynaecology)/MS/DNB(General Surgery) Technical Qualifications: • Three years teaching experience in the subject as Resident/Registrar/Demonstrator/Tutor in a recognized Medical college either during the Post Graduation course or after obtaining Post Graduate Degree in the subject. • One year Senior Residency after successful completion of PG course in a Govt. Medical College. Experience Required: Three years teaching experience in the subject as Resident/Registrar/Demonstrator/Tutor in a recognized Medical college and one year Senior Residency after successful completion of PG course in a Govt. Medical College. Physical Standards: Not specified Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)(ii) of KS & SSR part -II is applicable. Candidates who claim equivalent qualifications instead of qualification mentioned in the Notification shall produce the relevant Government Order to prove the equivalency at the time of verification.
General conditions from the notification
Candidates appointed must serve for 4 years during the first 10 years of service (including training) in defence services if required. Differently abled and those over 45 are exempted. Candidates must submit confirmation for writing the exam if a test is conducted. Disciplinary action as per Rule 22 for bogus claims.
