Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • MD/DNB in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation • MS/MD/DNB in General Medicine with Diploma in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation • MS/MD/DNB in General Surgery with Three Year Special Training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in a teaching Institution/ Centre of Excellence with dedicated service in the Speciality • MS/MD/DNB in Orthopaedics with Three Year Special Training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in a teaching Institution/ Centre of Excellence with dedicated service in the Speciality Technical Qualifications: • Permanent Registration under Kerala State Medical Council (TCMC)/ Council for Modern Medicine Experience Required: One Year Experience as Senior Resident in the concerned subject in a NMC recognized Medical College after acquiring Post Graduate Degree. Physical Standards: Not specified Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable. Qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for a post, in the Special Rules, shall be sufficient.

Candidates must serve for 4 years during the first 10 years of service (including training) in Defence Services if required. Disciplinary action as per Rule 22 of KPSC Rules of Procedure applies for bogus claims. Candidates must submit confirmation for exams via profile.
