Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Assistant Professor in Biochemistry in Medical Education. Category No: 300/2024. Vacancies: Scheduled Tribe-01 (One). Scale of Pay: As per UGC norms. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (Only from candidates belonging to the Scheduled Tribe Community. Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • MD/DNB in Biochemistry Technical Qualifications: • Permanent Registration under Kerala State Medical Council (TCMC)/ Council for Modern Medicine Experience Required: One Year Experience as Senior Resident in Biochemistry in a NMC Recognized Medical College after acquiring Post Graduate Degree Physical Standards: Not specified Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. Qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for a post, in the Special Rules and such of those qualifications which pre-suppose the acquisition of the lower qualification prescribed for the post, shall also be sufficient for the post.

General conditions from the notification
Candidates must acquaint themselves with the instructions given in the notification as Part II, General Conditions. Those appointed must serve for four (4) years during the first ten (10) years of their service (including the period of training) anywhere in India or any other foreign country under Defence Services connected with Defence, if required. Differently abled candidates and those who have completed 45 years of age are exempted from this compulsory Military Service.
