Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of High School Teacher (Sanskrit) in Education. Category No: 284/2025. Vacancies: District wise (Idukki - 01). Scale of Pay: ₹ 41,300-87,000/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment. Applications must be submitted online on or before 03-10-2025 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18-40. Only Candidates born between 02.01.1985 and 01.01.2007 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. SC/ST Candidates and Other Backward Communities are eligible for usual age relaxation. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A Degree in Sanskrit and B.Ed/BT/LT conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • OR A title of Oriental Learning in Sanskrit awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala and Certificate in Language Teachers Training issued by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. • Post Graduates in Sanskrit are also eligible to apply provided they have B.Ed/B.T/LT qualification. Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET, Category III) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS & SSR part II Rule 10 a (ii) is applicable for selection to this post. 'Siksha Sastri' Examination of the Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan and 'Siksha Sastri' Examination of Kameswar Singh Darbhanga University of Bihar will be treated as equivalent to B.Ed Degree.
