Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A Bachelors Degree with Mathematics or Statistics as Main Subject and B. Ed./ B.T. in the concerned subjects conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • Post Graduates in Mathematics/ Statistics with B. Ed./ B.T. in the concerned subject will also be considered. • B.Sc.Ed. in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics stream conducted by the Regional Institute of Education, Mysore of N.C.E.R.T. is also eligible. Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET Category III) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. Experience Required: Candidates should have service not less than 5 years as Clerk/ Typist/ Attender/ Office Attendant/ Binder in the General Education Department as on the date of application. Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)(ii) of part II of K.S. & S.S.R. is applicable. Diploma in Rural Service awarded by the National Council for Rural Higher Education is treated as equivalent to Degree. Exemptions from K-TET apply for candidates with C-TET/ NET/ SET/ M. Phil./ Ph. D. in respective subjects or M. Ed. in any subject.
