Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Tradesman - Smithy (Forging and Heat Treating) in Technical Education Department. Category No: 277/2025. Vacancies: 23 (Twenty Three). Scale of Pay: 26,500 – 60,700/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment. Applications must be submitted online on or before 03-10-2025 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18 - 36. Only candidates born between 02.01.1989 and 01.01.2007 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for the post with usual age relaxation to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Communities. Age relaxation will be allowed for officers of Technical Education Department to the extent of their service in the Department subject to a maximum period of ten years over and above the relaxation in age, if any, allowed under general rules. Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A pass in Technical High School Leaving Certificate Examination with specialization in the appropriate Trade. • Pass in Secondary School Leaving Certificate Examination or Equivalent. • National Trade Certificate in the appropriate Trade/ Pass in Kerala Government Certificate in Engineering Examination in the appropriate Trade/ Pass in Vocational Higher Secondary Certificate Course in the appropriate Trade. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II KS &SSR is applicable.
