Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Fire & Rescue Officer (Driver) (Trainee) (Special Recruitment from among SC/ST only) in Fire & Rescue Services. Category No: 27/2021. Vacancies: 01 (One). Scale of Pay: ₹. 20,000 - 45,800/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (Special Recruitment from among Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes). Applications must be submitted online on or before 21-04-2021 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18-31. Only Candidates born between 02.01.1990 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. No other age relaxation will be allowed. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Must have passed Plus two or its equivalent Examination Technical Qualifications: • Must possess a valid Motor Driving Licence with endorsement for driving heavy goods vehicles or heavy passenger vehicles with badge. Physical Standards: Must not be less than 160cms in height (without foot wear). Must not be less than 48kgms in weight and must not be less than 76cms round the chest with a minimum expansion of not less than 5cms. Visual Standards: Distant Vision Right Eye 6/6 Snellen, Left Eye 6/6 Snellen. Near Vision Right Eye 0.5 Snellen, Left Eye 0.5 Snellen. Field of vision Full for both eyes. Must be certified to possess the visual standards specified without glasses. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)(ii) of part II of KS&SSR is applicable.

Appointment are made on the basis of the ranked list of candidates prepared in pursuance of this notification subject to the conditions laid down in G.O.(MS) No.142/72/PD dated 13.04.1972, G.O.(MS) No. 309/73/PD dated 29.11.1973, G.O.(P) No. 21/76/PD dated, 17.01.1976 and G.O.(P) No.25/94/GAD dated, 22.01.1994 allowing special reservations to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.
