Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • SSLC or equivalent qualification (G.O. (MS) No. 232/2009/G.Edn dated 30.11.2009) • Degree in Sanskrit conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala • OR Title for Oriental Learning in Sanskrit awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala • OR Oriental School Leaving Certificate (OSLC) in Sanskrit issued by the Government of Kerala • OR Pass in Preliminary Examination in Sanskrit conducted by any of the Universities in Kerala • OR Pass in Pre-University or Pre-Degree Examination in Sanskrit from a Sanskrit College under any of the Universities in Kerala • OR Pass in Sanskrit Teachers Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala • OR Pass in Pre-Degree Examination with Sanskrit (Sahithya) or Sanskrit (Sastra) as optional subjects, from an Arts or Science College under any of the Universities in Kerala • OR Pass in Plus Two Course with Sanskrit Sahithya, Sanskrit Sastra, History, and Economics as combination, conducted by the Directorate of Higher Secondary Education, Government of Kerala (G.O. (MS) No. 155/2007/G.Edn dated 17.08.2007) Technical Qualifications: • Pass in Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET-Cat-IV) conducted by the Government of Kerala Experience Required: Must be a regular employee or completed probation satisfactorily in the General Education Subordinate Service as on the date of application. Must have not less than 5 years regular service as Clerk, Typist, Attender, Office Attender, or Full Time Menial in the General Education Department. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. Equivalency of qualifications must be proven through government orders produced at verification time if claimed.
