Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Chemical Inspector/Technical Assistant (Chemical) in Factories & Boilers. Category No: 253/2022. Vacancies: 2 (Two). Scale of Pay: 55200-115300/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment. Applications must be submitted online on or before 31-08-2022 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

23-36. Candidates must be born between 02.01.1986 and 01.01.1999 (both dates included). Usual age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST and other backward communities as per Part II, Rule 2 of KS&SSR. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemical Technology from a recognized university with not less than 55% marks. Experience Required: Not less than 2 (two) years of experience in a supervisory capacity in a Chemical Industry or Laboratory run by the State or Central Government or any Quasi-Government/Public Sector Undertaking (Experience must be acquired after acquiring the qualification). Physical Standards: Not specified Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS & SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. Candidates claiming equivalent qualification must produce the Government Order proving the equivalency at the time of certificate verification.
General conditions from the notification
Candidates appointed to this post shall undergo in-service training for a minimum period of 6 months from the date of joining. The training period will be counted for probation and increment. Probation period is 2 years within a continuous period of 3 years from the date of joining.
