Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment from among the employees holding the posts of 1st Grade, 2nd Grade Overseer/Draftsman (Electrical), Clerk in the Public Works Department. Applications must be submitted online on or before 31-08-2022 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent qualification. • OR • Pass in Sections A and B of AMIE (India) in Electrical Engineering. Technical Qualifications: • Must have put in not less than 2 years of service in the electrical wing in the category of 1st Grade Draftsman/Overseer (Electrical), 2nd Grade Draftsman/Overseer (Electrical) or not less than 6 years of service in the category of Clerk in Public Works Department. Experience Required: Must have minimum service as specified in the technical qualifications. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part II Rule 10 (a)(ii) is applicable. Equivalency certificates/Government orders must be produced at the time of certificate verification if claimed.

General conditions from the notification
The rules and regulations regarding Part II KS&SSR Rule 14 to 17 are not applicable for selection to this post. Persons appointed are liable to serve in the Defence Services for the first 10 years of service (including training period) if required. Candidates must submit confirmation for writing the examination through their OTR profile.
