Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Laboratary Technician Gr-II in Health Services. Category No: 235/2014 to 238/2014. Vacancies: District wise (Kasaragod: LC/AI - 1, Muslim - 2, SIUC Nadar - 1, OBC - 1). Scale of Pay: 11,620 – 20,240/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (From candidates belonging to LC/AI, Muslim, SIUC Nadar, OBC communities only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 18-06-2014 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18-39. Only candidates born between 2.1.1975 and 1.1.1996 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. Including the relaxation as per para 2 (i) of General Condition. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A pass in Pre-Degree or equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks or B grade in science subject. Relaxation of 10% marks will be allowed to those belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe and 5% marks to socially and Educationally Backward communities who come under the purview of GO.(P) 208/66/PD dt 21.5.1966 and subsequent orders/amendments. • S.S.L.C or equivalent for Ex-servicemen who have passed Class I Blood Transfusion Assistant Test and have put in not less than 15 years service in the Armed Forces. Technical Qualifications: • A pass in one year Medical Laboratory Technician's Training Course conducted by the Medical Colleges in Kerala or by the Public Health Laboratory, Thiruvananthapuram or any qualification equivalent thereto. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: In the case of persons who have completed Degree course in Science. 'B' Grade in Pre-degree examination will not be insisted.
