Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Driver GR II (LDV) (By Transfer) / Driver Cum – Office Attendant (LDV) in Various. Category No: 20/2021. Vacancies: District Wise (Anticipated vacancies). Scale of Pay: Rs. 18,000 – 41,500/-. Method of Appointment: By transfer from any other class or category in the general subordinate service or from any other service.. Applications must be submitted online on or before 21-04-2021 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18-50. Only candidates born between 02.01.1971 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included) are eligible. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A Pass in Standard VII/III Forum. Technical Qualifications: • Must possess valid Driving Licence of three years standing to drive light motor vehicle with Drivers Badge. • Proficiency in Driving Light Motor Vehicles which is to be proved by a Practical Test (including 'H' Test) conducted by Kerala Public Service Commission. Experience Required: Candidates holding low paid posts in Kerala State Subordinate Service (including Part Time Contingent Subordinate Service) in the scale of pay lower than Rs. 18,000 – 41,500/-. The applicant should be an approved probationer/full member of the subordinate service. Physical Standards: Ear: Hearing should be perfect. Eye: Distant vision 6/6 Snellen (Right/Left), Near vision 0.5 Snellen (Right/Left), Normal Colour Vision, Nil Night blindness. Muscles and joints: No paralysis and all joints must be capable of free movement. Nervous System: Perfectly normal and free from any infectious diseases. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 (a)(ii) of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable. Candidates claiming equivalent qualification should produce relevant Govt. Orders.

General conditions from the notification
Candidates must submit a Service Certificate in original attested from the head of the office. Appointment by transfer and by Direct Recruitment shall be made in the ratio of 1:3. Probation period is 2 years on duty within a continuous period of 3 years. Reservation rules 14 to 17 of Part II of KS&SSR 1958 are not applicable to appointment by transfer.
