Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Assistant Engineer (Civil) in Public Works Department. Category No: 180/2025. Vacancies: Anticipated. Scale of Pay: ₹ 55,200 – 1,15,300/-. Age limit

21-40. Only candidates born between 02/01/1985 and 01/01/2004 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. Usual age relaxation will be given to SC/ST and Other Backward Communities. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • B.Sc/B.Tech Degree in Engineering (Civil) of the Kerala University or B.E Degree (Civil) of the Madras University or any other qualification recognized as equivalent thereto • Associate Membership of the Institution of Engineers, India, in Civil Engineering or any other Diploma recognized as equivalent thereto • Pass in sections ‘A’ and ‘B’ of the Associate Membership Examinations of the Institution of Engineers, India, in Civil Engineering Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 a (ii) of part II of KS&SSR is applicable. Qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent shall be produced as and when required.
General conditions from the notification
The ranked list published in response to this notification shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year and a maximum of three years. Persons appointed shall be liable to serve in the Defence Service for a minimum period of 4 years if required within the first 10 years of service. Probation period is two years on duty within a continuous period of three years.
