Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Driver GR II (HDV) (By Transfer) / Driver Cum – Office Attendant (HDV) in Various. Category No: 18/2021. Vacancies: District Wise (Anticipated Vacancies). Scale of Pay: Rs. 18,000 – 41,500/-. Method of Appointment: By transfer from any other class or category in the general subordinate service or from any other service.. Applications must be submitted online on or before 21-04-2021 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18-50. Only candidates born between 02.01.1971 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included) only are eligible to apply for this post. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A Pass in Standard VII/III Forum. Technical Qualifications: • Must possess valid Driving Licence of three years standing to drive Medium/Heavy Goods/Passenger Motor vehicles with Drivers Badge. • Proficiency in Driving-Medium/Heavy Goods/Passenger Motor Vehicles which is to be proved by a Practical Test including 'T'test and Road test conducted by Kerala Public Service Commission during the course of selection. Only those who have passed 'T' test are eligible for road test. Physical Standards: Medical Fitness: (a) Ear - Hearing should be perfect. (b) Eye - Distant vision: Right eye 6/6 Snellen, Left eye 6/6 Snellen; Near vision: Right eye 0.5 snellen, Left eye 0.5 snellen; Colour Vision: Normal; Night blindness: Nil. (c) Muscles and joints - No paralysis and all joints must be capable of free movement. (d) Nervous System - Perfectly normal and free from any infectious diseases. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 (a)(ii) of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable. Candidates claiming equivalent qualification should produce relevant Govt. Orders bearing verification to prove that the qualification claimed is equivalent to the prescribed qualification for the post.

General conditions from the notification
Applications submitted through conventional type will be summarily rejected. Candidates already in Government service holding this post in any one district are prohibited from applying again. Candidates must submit a Service Certificate in original attested from the head of the office. Rules regarding reservation of appointment (Rules 14 to 17 of part II of KS&SSR 1958) are not applicable to appointment by transfer.
