Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Non- Vocational Teacher in English – By Transfer in Kerala Vocational Higher Secondary Education. Category No: 178/2025. Vacancies: 02 (Two). Scale of Pay: ₹ 55,200-1,15,300/-. Method of Appointment: By Transfer Recruitment from qualified High School Teachers in General Education Subordinate service. Applications must be submitted online on or before 03-09-2025 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

Only candidates born on or before 01.01.2002 are eligible to apply for this post. Upper age limit is not applicable for By Transfer recruitment. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Post Graduate Degree in English with not less than 50% marks awarded by any of the Universities in Kerala or an equivalent qualification. • B.Ed Degree in the concerned subject acquired after a regular course of study from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto by a University of Kerala. • In the absence of persons with B.Ed. Degree in the concerned subject, B.Ed. Degree in the concerned faculty acquired after a regular course of study as specified in the Acts and Statutes of the Universities in Kerala. • In the absence of persons with B.Ed. Degree as specified above, persons with B.Ed. Degree in any subject acquired after a regular course of study from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto. Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed the State Eligibility Test for the post of Non Vocational Teacher conducted by Government of Kerala or by the Agency authorized by the State Government. Experience Required: Service as High School Teachers in General Education Subordinate service. Service certificate to be obtained from the Head of Office. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS & SSR Part II Rule 10 a(ii) is applicable. Qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent shall be produced as and when required.

The rules regarding reservation of appointment contained in Rule 14 to 17 of Part II of KS & SSR, 1958 are not applicable to this selection. Candidates must submit confirmation for writing the examination through their OTR profile if written/OMR/Online Test is conducted.
