Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Inspector of Police (Telecommunications) (Special Recruitment for Scheduled Tribes Only) in Kerala Police Service. Category No: 169/2022. Vacancies: 1 (One). Scale of Pay: 10,790 – 18,000/- (PR). Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (Special Recruitment from among Scheduled Tribes only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 22-06-2022 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

20 - 36. Only Candidates born between 02.01.1986 and 01.01.2002 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. No other age relaxation will be allowed. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Diploma in Telecommunication/Radio Engineering or equivalent Experience Required: Experience in the repairs of Electronic Devices or Computers & Accessories for a period not less than 2 years from a Government recognised Institute. In respect of Defence Service Personnel 3 (Three) years experience in signal Corps (Supervisory) with total service of 5 years will be reckoned as equivalent qualification for Direct Recruitment. Physical Standards: Distant Vision: Right eye 6/6 Snellen, Left eye 6/6 Snellen. Near Vision: 0.5 Snellen for both eyes. Each eye must have a full field of vision. Colour blindness, Squint or any morbid condition of the eyes or lids of either eye shall be a disqualification. Must be certified medically fit for active work. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Part II Rule 10 a(ii) of KS&SSR regarding qualification is applicable. Candidates claiming equivalency must produce relevant Government Order at the time of verification.

Appointment is subject to G.O.(P) No. 21/76/PD dated 17.01.1976 and G.O.(P) No.25/94/GAD dated 22.01.1994. Candidates must submit confirmation for examination if conducted. False claims will lead to disciplinary action under Rule 22 of KPSC Rules of Procedure 1976.
