Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Overseer Grade III/Work Superintendent Grade II in Kerala Land Development Corporation Limited. Category No: 16/2013. Vacancies: 9 (Nine). Scale of Pay: 5650-8790/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment. Applications must be submitted online on or before 20-03-2013 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18-35. Only candidates born between 2-1-1978 and 1-1-1995 (Both dates included) are eligible. Usual age relaxation for SC/ST and Other Backward communities. Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Pass in S.S.L.C or equivalent qualification Technical Qualifications: • SMT Overseer's course (2yrs course) • Draftsman course, College of Engineering Guindy • Group Certificate under KGTE/MGTE which include all the 4 groups viz Building, Drawing, Building construction, Survey & Irrigation • Alternatively a pass in the following 8 subjects: 1. Survey & Levelling (Higher), 2. Applied Mechanics (Higher), 3. Building Materials & Construction (Higher), 4. Hydraulics & Irrigation (Higher), 5. Building, Drawing and Estimating (Higher), 6. Earth Work & Road Making (Higher), 7. Geometrical Drawing (Lower) or Practical Plane & Solid Geometry (Lower), 8. Mensuration (Lower) • Kerala Government Certificate Examination in Civil Engineering • Successful completion of the Certificate course of college of Engineering, Trivandrum • National Trade Certificate in Draftsman (Civil) • A pass in the Overseer's course conducted by the Government of Kerala • Diploma in Civil Engineering (2yrs course) of the Women's Polytechnics of the state Experience Required: None Physical Standards: Not specified Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Qualifications must be acquired after a pass in S.S.L.C
General conditions from the notification
The list of selected candidates shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year and a maximum period of three years. The Commission has the power to cancel the advice for appointment if made under mistake within the period of probation or 240 days from joining duty. Sub Paras v, viii, ix, x, xi and xiii in para 2 and paras 5 and 7 of the general conditions are not applicable to this post.
