Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Full Time Junior Language Teacher (Arabic) LPS in Education. Category No: 157/2025 - 162/2025. Vacancies: District-wise (OBC: 1, Viswakarma: 1, LC/AI: 1, Dheevara: 1, SCCC: 1, Scheduled Tribe: 7 across Thiruvananthapuram, Thrissur, Kasaragod). Scale of Pay: ₹ 35,600 – 75,400/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment from candidates belonging to OBC, Viswakarma, LC/AI, Dheevara, SCCC & Scheduled Tribe community only. (In the absence of candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribe community, candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste community will also be considered). Applications must be submitted online on or before 16-07-2025 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

For OBC, Viswakarma, LC/AI, Dheevara & SCCC: 18-43 (born between 02.01.1982 and 01.01.2007). For ST: 18-45 (born between 02.01.1980 and 01.01.2007). Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A pass in Higher Secondary Examination with Arabic as an optional subject or as second language; OR • A pass in Afzal-Al-Ulama Preliminary examination; OR • A pass in the Pre Degree examination with Arabic as an optional subject; OR • A pass in the SSLC examination from Arabic Oriental School or from academic school with Arabic as First Language conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala and a pass in Higher Secondary examination; OR • A pass in Higher Secondary examination and a pass in Arabic Teachers Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala; OR • A pass in Higher Secondary Examination and Degree/ Post Graduate Degree in Arabic language conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala Technical Qualifications: • A pass in the 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (Arabic), in short D.El.Ed (Arabic), examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test-IV (K-TET-IV) conducted by the Government of Kerala. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 a(ii) of Part II KS&SSR will be applicable for this post.
