Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Blacksmith in Health Services. Category No: 142/2024. Vacancies: District-wise: Kozhikode – 01 (AV). Scale of Pay: ₹ 25,100 – 57,900/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment. Applications must be submitted online on or before 17-07-2024 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

19-36. Only Candidates born between 02.01.1987 and 01.01.2004 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. Other Backward Classes and SC/ST candidates are eligible for usual age relaxation. Maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years. Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • National Trade Certificate in Blacksmithy Trade. Technical Qualifications: • National Trade Certificate in Blacksmithy Trade. Experience Required: Must have atleast 5 years experience as Blacksmith gained after acquiring the technical qualification of NTC in Blacksmithy Trade and must be able to fabricate, maintain and repair steel items of furniture and other equipments. The experience acquired from Institutions other than Government/Quasi Government must be registered under the Companies Act, the SSI Act or under the Co-operative Societies Act. Physical Standards: Not specified Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 (a) (ii) of Part II of KS&SSR is applicable. Qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for the post, in the Special Rules and such of those qualifications which pre-suppose the acquisition of the lower qualification prescribed for the post, shall also be sufficient for the post.
General conditions from the notification
Part II of the KS&SSR is applicable. Candidates must submit confirmation for writing the examination through their One Time Registration profile if a test is conducted. 4% of the total vacancies are reserved for eligible differently abled candidates.
