Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • MD (Community Medicine) / MD (Social and Preventive Medicine) / DNB (Community Medicine) • Permanent Registration under Travancore Cochin Medical Council Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: DNB qualifications must be acquired from a Medical College, which is recognized by any of the Universities in Kerala. Provisional Registration with any Medical Council will not be accepted.

General conditions from the notification
Those who are appointed in the post should serve for four (4) years during the first ten (10) years of their service anywhere in India or any other foreign country under defence services connected with defence, if required. Those who have completed 45 years of age are exempted from the compulsory Military service.
