Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Degree in Arabic conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • OR Title of Oriental Learning in Arabic awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • OR Pre-Degree with Part III Arabic (Special Optional) of the University of Calicut. • OR Plus Two Part III Arabic (Optional) course of the Higher Secondary Board, Kerala. • OR SSLC with Arabic as First Language (Part I and Part II) of the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. • OR A pass in SSLC or equivalent and having any of the following qualifications: 1) Arabic Munshi (Higher) Examination, 2) Arabic Munshi (Lower) Examination, 3) Arabic Teachers Examination, 4) Examination conducted by the Universities of Kerala or Calicut for Arabic Entrance. Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET-IV) for this post. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: BA Arabic & Islamic History Double Main degree recognized/conferred by Universities in Kerala is also a prescribed qualification as per G.O.(Rt) No.8/19/G.Edn dated 14.01.2019. KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable.
