Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Full Time Junior Language Teacher (Sanskrit) in General Education. Category No: 136/2023. Vacancies: District-wise: Alappuzha - 03 (Three). Scale of Pay: 35600-75400/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment. Applications must be submitted online on or before 16-08-2023 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18-40. Candidates born between 02.01.1983 and 01.01.2005 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. Usual age relaxation is applicable to SC/ST and Other Backward Communities. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • SSLC or equivalent qualification • Degree in Sanskrit conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala • Title of Oriental Learning in Sanskrit awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala • Oriental School Leaving Certificate in Sanskrit issued by the Government of Kerala • Preliminary Examination in Sanskrit conducted by any of the Universities in Kerala • Pre-degree or Pre-university examination in Sanskrit conducted by any of the Universities in Kerala • Sanskrit Teacher Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala • Pre-degree examination with Sanskrit (Sahithyam) and Sanskrit (Sasthram) as optional subjects from Arts/Science colleges under Universities in Kerala • Plus 2 course with Sanskrit Sahithyam, Sanskrit Sasthram, History, and Economics as a combination conducted by the Directorate of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala (G.O.(MS) No. 155/2007/G.Edn dated 17.08.2007) Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET-IV) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala Experience Required: Not applicable Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. M.Ed is not mandatory as per G.O.(P) No.15/2020/G.Edn dated 09/10/2020. Candidates who have passed CTET Category I are exempted from KTET Category I, and those who have passed CTET Category II are exempted from KTET Category II as per G.O.(P) No. 145/16/G.Edn dated 30.08.2016 and G.O.(P) No. 206/16/G.Edn dated 08.12.2016.
General conditions from the notification
The selection will be made on a district-wise basis. Candidates must submit applications to the district specified in the notification. Candidates already in government service in the same post in another district are not eligible to apply. 4% of vacancies are reserved for differently-abled candidates as per G.O.(P) No. 7/2022/SJD dated 28.10.2022.
