Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Pass in SSLC or equivalent examination. Physical Standards: Height: Minimum 167 cm. Chest: Minimum 81 cm with a minimum expansion of 5 cm. Vision: Must possess standard of vision without glasses (Distant Vision: Right 6/6 Snellen, Left 6/6 Snellen; Near Vision: Right 0.5 Snellen, Left 0.5 Snellen). Free from colour blindness, squint, and morbid conditions of eyes/lids. Free from deformities like knock-knee, flat foot, varicose veins, arched legs, defective speech or hearing. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. Equivalency certificates from the Government must be produced at the time of verification.
General conditions from the notification
Applications submitted subject to conditions in Part II of KS&SSR. Candidates must undergo rigorous training, endurance tests, physical efficiency tests, medical tests, and psychological/behavioral assessments. A bond of Rs. 50,000/- to serve for at least 5 years after training must be executed.
