Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Architectural Draftsman Gr II in Public Works Department (Architectural Wing). Category No: 128/2025. Vacancies: SC - 01 (One). Scale of Pay: ₹ 31,100 - 66,800/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment from the candidates belonging to the SC community only.. Applications must be submitted online on or before 16-07-2025 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18-41. Only candidates born between 02.01.1984 and 01.01.2007 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for the post (including the age relaxation in para 2(i) of the General Conditions). Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Certificate in Architectural Draftsmanship awarded by the Industrial Training Centres of the Government of Kerala. (Two year course with training) • OR National Trade Certificate in Architectural Draftsmanship with training awarded by the National Council for Vocational training (NCVT) New Delhi or its equivalent qualification. Technical Qualifications: • One year computer aided building drafting experience under a Registered Architect or any Registered Civil Engineering Firm. • Proficiency in Computer drafting in Auto CAD level 1 & 2 or in any similar Architectural CAD software notified as equivalent by the Government of Kerala from time to time. Experience Required: One year computer aided building drafting experience under a Registered Architect or any Registered Civil Engineering Firm. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 a (ii) of part II of KS&SSR is applicable. Candidates who claim equivalent qualification instead of qualification mentioned in the notification shall produce the relevant Government Order to prove the equivalency at the time of verification.

General conditions from the notification
Applications submitted by candidates other than the specified community will be rejected. Probation period is two years of duty within a continuous period of three years. Candidates must submit confirmation for writing the examination through their OTR profile if tests are conducted. AADHAR card should be added as ID Proof.
