Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Medical Post Graduate Degree (e.g. MD) or DNB in the concerned subject from a recognized University. Technical Qualifications: • Three years Teaching Experience or other teaching experience as prescribed by the Medical Council of India. • Permanent Registration with State Medical Council (Travancore-Cochin Medical Council). Experience Required: Three years teaching experience or other teaching experience as prescribed by the Medical Council of India. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable.

General conditions from the notification
Applications of candidates not belonging to Scheduled Tribes will be rejected. Persons appointed shall render military service for four years within the first ten years of service (including training period) in Defence Services or in posts connected with Defence, if required.
