Educational Qualifications: • Exempted from the minimum General Educational qualification of pass in SSLC for low paid employees in the State Subordinate Service Technical Qualifications: • Working knowledge in both Tamil & Malayalam languages Experience Required: Candidates must be a full member or an approved probationer of the Kerala State Subordinate Services (including part time contingent Service) holding a post with a scale of pay lower than Rs. 19000-43600/- Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: As per Rule 2(13) of the KS & SSR 1958

General conditions from the notification
Selection will be made on the basis of a Competitive Test of the SSLC Standard. Candidates must be full members or approved probationers of the Subordinate Services. Persons appointed through Employment Exchange or on a temporary/provisional basis are not eligible. Candidates must produce a service certificate from the Head of Office. 10% reservation quota applies. If sufficient candidates are not available, vacancies will be filled by Direct Recruitment candidates. Candidates advised as LDC/Village Assistant in Revenue Department may be sent for Survey Training. Candidates willing to be posted in State Archives must submit willingness and undergo Inservice Training in Old Scripts.
