Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Full Time Junior Language Teacher (Arabic) - LPS in Education. Category No: 107/2024 - 113/2024. Vacancies: District wise. Scale of Pay: ₹ 35600-75400/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (from the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Hindu Nadar, Ezhava/Thiyya/Billava, Viswakarma, SCCC & Dheevara communities only).. Applications must be submitted online on or before 19-06-2024 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18-43 (for Hindu Nadar, Ezhava/Thiyya/Billava, Viswakarma, SCCC & Dheevara; born between 02.01.1981 and 01.01.2006) and 18-45 (for SC/ST and adult members of SC and their children converted to Christianity; born between 02.01.1979 and 01.01.2006), including age relaxation as per para 2(i) of general conditions. Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A degree in Arabic conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • A title of Oriental Learning in Arabic awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • A Pass in Pre-degree with Part III Arabic (Special Optional) of the Calicut University. • A pass in Plus two, Part III, Arabic (optional) course conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Examinations, Kerala. • A pass in SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala with Arabic under Part I and Part II First Language. • A pass in SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent and any one of the following qualifications: (i) Arabic Munshi Examination (Higher), (ii) Arabic Munshi Examination (Lower), (iii) Arabic Teachers Examination, (iv) Arabic Entrance Examination of Kerala/Calicut Universities. Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test-IV (K-TET-IV) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II KS&SSR will be applicable for this post. BA Arabic & Islamic History double main degree awarded or recognised by Universities in Kerala will also be considered as a qualification.
