Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Assistant Professor in Emergency Medicine in Medical Education. Category No: 024/2024. Vacancies: 16 (Sixteen). Scale of Pay: As per UGC norms. Age limit

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • MD/DNB in Emergency Medicine • OR • MS/MD/DNB in 1. General Medicine, 2. Anaesthesia, 3. Respiratory Medicine, 4. General Surgery, 5. Orthopaedics with Three Year Special Training in Emergency Medicine in a teaching institution / centre of Excellence with dedicated service in the Speciality. Technical Qualifications: • One year Experience as Senior Resident in the concerned subject in a National Medical Commission recognized Medical College after acquiring Post Graduate degree • Permanent Registration under Kerala State Medical Council (TCMC)/ Council for Modern Medicine Experience Required: One year Experience as Senior Resident in the concerned subject in a National Medical Commission recognized Medical College after acquiring Post Graduate degree Physical Standards: Not specified Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable. Qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for a post, in the Special Rules and such of those qualifications which pre-suppose the acquisition of the lower qualification prescribed for the post, shall also be sufficient.
General conditions from the notification
Candidates must acquaint themselves with the instructions given in Part II of the Gazette Notification. Disciplinary action as per Rule 22 of the KPSC Rules of Procedure will be initiated for bogus claims. Candidates appointed must serve for four years during the first ten years of their service under Defence Services if required (exemptions apply).
