Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Pass in 7th Standard or equivalent qualification Technical Qualifications: • Must possess a valid Driving License for Light Duty and Heavy Duty vehicles • Must possess a Driving Badge • Driving license must have been in force for at least three years • License must have authorization for Heavy Goods and Heavy Passenger vehicles (for licenses issued after 16.01.1979) Experience Required: Not specified, but must have held a valid driving license for at least three years. Physical Standards: Must be physically fit. Vision standards: Distant vision 6/6 Snellen, Near vision 0.5 Snellen, normal color vision, no night blindness, no physical deformity, and full field of vision in each eye. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II, KS&SSR is applicable.
General conditions from the notification
Appointments are subject to KCS Rule 184 (probation for two years within a continuous service of three years). Selection is state-wide. Candidates must produce original documents when required. False claims will lead to disciplinary action under KPSC Rules of Procedure 1976.
